The numbers are awful, but using your 50M scale bar the best standard fit would be a scale of 1mm = 4meters, so 12.5mm on A3 would be equal to your 50M scalebar. This means you need to create a new scale using 1 paperspace unit = 18147.904 drawing units.

It would be a much simpler idea to use model space as it is recomended and draw full size

If I measure the road length on cad its bang on but I don’t know how to print it on A3 to scale. I've looked at many different options and nothing seems to be working? Any help greatly appreciated. I am using Autocad 2019

Can you post the dwg, there are so many details we can't see it would be difficult to explain the steps, without first knowing if your units are correct? are you in a metric or imperial drawing template? what is the size of the area you want to plot? do you have to use an industry-standard scale or scale to fit? is the orientation correct?

I am using metric drawing template. I want to plot it to A3 page whilst keeping the scale intact as it is correct within the autocad drawing.

Hope this helps. Its for a colleague of mine

Yout units are set as meters, which makes Thorner Lane 25 thousand meters wide? Which is going to make scaling just a tad difficult. And your detail has a 150mm duct drawn at 150 thousand meters. Model space should be used to draw elements at full size, is there anything in your drawing that you know the actual size off so that you can scale down to real sizes (full size) first, are your units supposed to be meters or should it be something else?
