Ia the problem just limited to this one set? or all sets?
What are you publishing to?
What is your LT version as listed in ABOUT command?

not sure what you mean by "sets"

i usually start with a template for drawings and simply copy additional "pages" as needed

Autodesk AutoCAD Inventor LT Suite 2016

plotting to Ricoh MP W7100 PS this once worked and now it completely jams up machine!

plotting to pdf is fine

To use batch plotting, you have to select a set of "pages" to do that: that is what I am calling a set.

So is this error with this one set you batch plotted? Or does it happen to all other sets?

Inventor LT Suite is two separate software packages, so you are using an old LT2016 version.
So what is new with your setup?
Did you get new templates you are starting with?
Or is the Ricoh new? Or did you install a new driver for the Ricoh?
New PC?

Let us know.

gotcha on the "set"..

it happens all the time now with plotting to the printer.

NOT pdf--strange

Nothing is new on my end, however the IT "gurus" switched something in our system. (no idea what the heck they did....) I dont recall if it coincided with that...

If i "call up" each page and "print" it, it goes lickity split. but batch plotting, it just gets stupid and bogs down my computer and everything i.e. cannot switch programs or anything other than sit there and wait for it to finish

Find out what IT changed: it might be worth knowing for sure.

Batchplotting fails like you describe if the pagesetup did not apply to the page you included in the set: this could be who you are selecting/choosing the pageasetup from your template, or a mismatch with what the layout is.

Can you walk me through your process step by step?

Basically i have a new drawing.

This drawing consists of workspace and one paper space (which has our title block on it)

If i need additional paper space, i simply copy and rename existing as a new page.

Should that not work?

Thanks for the single layout file: it PUBLISHes and PLOTs just fine as a 24x36 PDF as you have the pagesetup in that layout defined.

Do you need to post a multiple layout DWG file(s) that exhibits your problem instead?

I have no trouble plotting or publishing to PDF either. It's just going directly to the plotter that screws it up.

It must be a driver or communication problem.

Maybe I just need to change my publishing habits.
