Hi,

I have the same problem. Used to use very old 2009 version of AutoCad. Calibration was ok, installed new 2021 and seems like it doesn't save the changes. When doing the Cailbration first it was -0.5mm off. Made the changes and checked calibartion, everything was ok, but when i finish the calibration it seems that it doesn't save the correction. When plotting the drawing is few -mm off.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I understand that after running the plotter calibration, the test page plots correctly, but it does not plot correctly when plotting your test scale drawing. I can imagine how frustrating that would be.

I see you note that the measurement is off by 1/32 plus or minus. Does it vary over and under on different plots?

Are you able to test plotting with that PMP file to another printer or to PDF and check the measurements?

I would be happy to run some tests if you would like to share your test scale file and PMP.

If a post was helpful, Likes are always welcome.

Thank you for sharing the files PMP and PDF files. Can you send the DWG file you are plotting from when you see the error? I will need it to troubleshoot the issue.

>>>...the problem persists. 1/32"± every 12"...<<<
What industry are you it that a paper print shortage so small is a deal breaker?
Or, what is it you are trying to do exactly? Paper stretches when heated/cooled, I suspect you are seeing that margin or error, nothing more.

The HP T125 is accoding to HP "Ideal for: Architects, engineering, and construction professionals working in home or small offices who need a compact, easy to use, affordable plotter in-house."

If you are cutting plates (not paper), your paper printer is the wrong tool to get there I suspect.

The problem exists on normal weight and heavy weight stock, no difference.
I'm not 'cutting' anything.
I print templates on heavy weight stock. These templates have holes and shapes on them. Center to center accuracy is critical.
We are metal fabricators, our assemblies will not "bolt -up" if they are out of tolerance.
Small angles and plates (less than 12") can usually accept the variation.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issues and was curious what your solution was to fixing the scale calibration? I also ran the scale calibration and the test print makes the correct adjustments but when I open a new file it prints out of scale. This is so frustrating! Currently running AutoCAD 2021. Thanks, Dustin
