Thanks @mribeiroYXKY9. I have a good system where I use your option 2 and it works pretty nicely for me now. I find with method 2, if things change, its quicker for me to sort out the rev clouds in paper space as its all at the same scale and all on the same layer (so easer not to mess it up) and I can work my way around and deal with revisions last thing before publishing my drawings and can draw rev clouds around entire areas on a sheet, rather than having to confine them to a viewport.

Thanks for commenting though. 🙂

Hi,

Is there a way to make revision clouds annotative? I have a drawing where I have a revision cloud that I want to be visible in a 1:10 viewport but not showing in a 1:5 viewport. I can't see a way to do this apart from creating an additional "rev cloud 1:10" layer and turning that off in all the viewports where I don't want the rev cloud visible.

Would appreciate any help or advice

Thanks

Sam

Extra Layer - use VP FREEZE

or

Use a BLOCK with a revcloud (Polyline) inside..

You can't, but you can do the same by doing this:

1. Create layer for the entitity that you want to hide in the other viewports and then freeze that layer in that viewport.

2. Add the revcloud in the paper space.

I prefer option 1 because I avoid to put anything in paper space but I used option 2 before.
