      <title>AutoCAD LT Hangs When Selecting Plotter From Dropdown Menu</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Having a real tough time with this one and hoping you can help. I work for an MSP company and support a client that uses AutoCAD LT 2022 (latest update). Whenever he, or several of his colleagues goes to print their drawings, it will freeze once they select the Epson SC-T5200D network printer from the dropdown menu.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I installed the AutoCAD LT specific drivers from EPSON's support page--still causes the printer to freeze.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To clarify, this is not an issue with the user's hardware, printing, or printer. This seems to be isolated specifically when they select the option within the AutoCAD print menu. &lt;STRONG&gt;*See following pics*&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have also tried disabling/enabling "background plot"--no luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="jbarrBG83N_0-1658264905242.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1093472i0B4F6524BE877984/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="jbarrBG83N_0-1658264905242.png" alt="jbarrBG83N_0-1658264905242.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Does this happen with all other drivers? Then it is a program problem.&lt;BR /&gt;Just this one driver? More often than not long painful pauses (or lock-ups) like that usually means the driver (or PC3 file) you selected is a challenge for the program and OS to find and use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is the device access timing out?&lt;BR /&gt;Is this a remote access situation?</description>

Yes, this happens with any driver but not every printer they have on their network (not sure if that helps to note). For example, they can switch to a run-of-the-mill HP OfficeJet and no freeze, but if they switch back to the Epson plotter, it freezes every time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you know how I can fix the PC3 file being difficult to find?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is the device access timing out?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-No&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is this a remote access situation?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;-Can you clarify what you mean?
