Hy guys!

I am new in Autocad and if you can help me i will be very grateful.

I work in electrical domain, production of distribution panels and i just want to join that mounting plate that i downloaded from the manufacturer site as dwg file.

The reason i want to join that mounting plate is to be able to hatch into real color of the mounting plate, to be more accurate.

If there is another way to color that plate, please tell me.

Until now i just created a block with this dwg but i didn't were able to color it.

I attached the dwg from the manufacturer site.

PS: i tried to set elevation to 0, then explode, then flatten, then join but nothing changed.

Hi,

There are multiple overlapping lines in the drawing you need to delete them first and then join them. To delete overlapping objects type in the command "OVERKILL" and then select the objects in the drawing and then click on "ok". Now all the overlapping objects will be deleted. After this use the command "JOIN" to join the lines into one🙂
