DIMALIGNED not selecting the right plane?

Hello all,

I am working in the AutoCAD 2D isometric drawing mode (If that's the right way to describe it!) and I am trying to place dimensions using the 'DIMALIGNED' function but it's not working?

Please see attached images for a far better description than I could ever write.

Hi,

to get your 3d dimensions in the right way , you have to change your UCS icon orientation first to match that sloped direction . after that you can use DIMLINEAR command. click on below image to see how it's work .
