Move multiple objects to 1 line at once

Is there a possibility to move multiple objects, with different distances to a line, to this line in 1 command?.

So i can select al the objects like text and points and i can move them al over 1 axis (X, Y or Z) to 1 line, so they all move a different distance an as a result the all get the same X, Y or Z coordinate.

Select them and use Properties Pallete, use XYZ

This only would wordk with object of the same type, right?, i want to move multiple object at the same time, like text and lines.

For some object types, it's pretty obvious what you would mean by moving them to an axis or a common coordinate in some direction [e.g. Points, Circles, full Ellipses]. For others, you would need to be more specific about what that means. For Text and Mtext, would you want their insertion points taken to the axis, no matter what their justification or rotation? For Blocks, their insertion points, regardless of where they lie in relation to the Blocks' drawn contents? Or would you want the "extents" of Text/Mtext/Block objects centered over the axis, ignoring insertion points? As another example, if you want to move things to a common X coordinate [aligned along a line parallel to the Y axis, here in dashed blue], if one of them is a Line that is not parallel to the axis already [green], there are different possibilities:

What about an Arc, or a Polyline, or a Spline?
