Cadders ... I want to control the offset scale factor for ACAD 2021 dimensioning. I can invoke the dimtext BGM dialog box for leaders and text, but I can't for dimension text. Is there a system variable provided to control dimension text masking? The default value is a tad much. I'd like to set the SF to a value of 1. For the particular scenario that I'm working in, the "feet" symbol height (upper right, as in " 16' ") will generate enough dim text masking, for me. How do I effect this adjustment? Thanks Ladies & Gents!

Dave

Not sure you can do that.

PROPERTIES command after you select the dims, TEXT section, the FILL COLOR element: on and off and color option only.

i suggest to check your text style that used in your Dimstyle . watch your text height in both .

That's what I'm thinking. It's all I've been able to find. Would have thought that it would be possible. Why the availability in 2 out of 3 common text use situations? Regardless, I still love the product! Thanks.

Imad. Hi. Thanks for replying to my issue. I'm using a Simplex (RS) font to define my text style, and I never assign a height in my TS definition. I just can't locate a setting provided to control the TM border offset scale. Really, I've thought about learning how to access the Dark Web to see if those guys might know! LOL! Again, thank you for taking time to respond.
