In addition to @imadHabash 's suggestions, if the issue you are experiencing is an >associative hatch<

"forgetting" that it is supposed to be behind the border(s) you need to remove the associative property, then send it behind the border using DrawOrder command. The hatch will no longer follow changes to the border, unfortunately. You can group the hatch with its "old" boundary so they will still move together, or you can re-create the boundary using hatchedit command. Just remember to delete the now un-used boundary object(s)....

I don't know why s.borello and ennujozlagam just repeat the first (imads)answer that already fits,
taranathsd showed it in great detail (added value for beginners).

@patriciotxk A short feedback would be nice for everyone

_

But I don't want to leave @Anonymous answer as it is because it is about common knowledge in dealing with AutoCAD.

(i would teach about pickstyle at the same time i teach the first time HATCH or GROUP command, also when teaching the whole content of Options dialog as overview)

>" you need to remove the associative property, then send it behind the border using DrawOrder command."
What?

>"You can group the hatch with its "old" boundary so they will still move together, or you can re-create the boundary using hatchedit command."
>"Just remember to delete the now un-used boundary object(s)...."
Ok, now i am sure you are not familiar with the options of PickStyle.

One of a lot of other System settings is 'how the object selection acts in case of associated objects': Grouped objects and associated hatchs

System variable PICKSTYLE
or
OPTIONS, Selection Tab | Selection modes-> Object grouping {shortcut toggle is CTRL+H} and Associative Hatch

This setting controls: If you select an object of a GROUP or an associative Hatch, should ACAD select the associated objects too or not?

So you don't need to destroy associations, just for editing one object of this association.
Just set the pickstyle to your needs, thats all.

HTH

@cadffm-I think the "language thing" got us on different tracks.

I'll try to address all your comments:

First, since OP hasn't replied yet, or posted image(s) or "problem" dwg file we are all just guessing on what the actual problem is, or even if there is one, and it wasn't just a "general knowledge" question

My reply was meant to address a (rare) problem I have where an associative hatch "forgets" its own draw order relationship to its own boundary (initially set in hatch creation dialog window) not that a hatched object needs to change draw order in relation to other objects in model space

In this instance the only solution I have found is to dis-associate the hatch, and either re-create the hatch, or the boundary. Or delete and re-create both.

I assumed that OP being a "level-7" member he/she would either already be familiar with properties window, hatch editor, etc. and if not would ask for more details, in which case I would provide as best I could...since I had no idea if I was even addressing the actual issue, I didn't take the time to go "in-depth"

Yes, I am familiar with pickstyle, pickadd, etc. and ctrl+H to quickly turn object grouping on or off, but again, I wasn't even sure if I was trying to answer the actual question. If it was simply how to use draworder command, that was answered by other folks....

Sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion.
