Is it a DEL key on NumPad? Check NumLock

Also we can read about problems with some keyboards

or just with thy cabel type (PS2 won't, USB will work in some cases // Never saw on my side, this is a google hit)

And: Please try it with Acad open ONLY (to make sure there are no problems with Adobe software or others side by side)

It seems to think I'm trying to delete whatever is in the command line instead of what I have selected (when I hit delete it clears the command line from the normal "Type a command" that's normally in there). Pickfirst is set to 1, which seems to be the go-to fix for this, but it's been set to 1 forever from what I can tell. The erase command still works as well.

Been having this issue for awhile (it showed up a few months ago), my administrator went as far as to reinstall AutoCAD completely with no luck. None of the AutoCAD pros in my office been able to find any solution either.

It hasn't been too intrusive because when I close the command line, the delete key works properly. Not having the command line open is obviously obnoxious though, and I'm hoping someone has some ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What productname and productversion?

Screenshot of dialog ABOUT.

If you tried this with the floating commandline, try it while the CL is DOCKED.

Argh, I didn't mean to click accept solution, was trying to hit reply. Can I retract that or would I have to create a new topic?

Regardless, I attached the ABOUT return. It's worth noting we also have ACAD Civil 3D 2019 and it happens there as well, docking the command line does not help.
