Issue converting mesh to solid

Hi!

When ever I try to convert simple rectangular mesh into solid with CONVTOSOLID command, the mesh becomes soother and rounded instead of conserving the initial shape.

Is there something I am doing wrong? What is the solution?

The smoothness and number of faces of the resulting 3D solid are controlled by the SMOOTHMESHCONVERT system variable.
