Line appear thick in different scale

The lines I use in my projects appear thicker in different scale when I print my project. Is there a way to make them always similar ?

Hi,

You may need to disable "plot lineweight" option in plot dialog. also you can follow this Link that will help.

I thought about this too, but the problem is that the lines, that I use to represent ventilation in this project, will appear with the same lineweight of the building.

How are you plotting "thicker" typically: using a plot style table (STB or CTB?), LWEIGHT setting, or a PLINE with an assigned width?

If you have no idea what I just wrote, share your DWG file here, let's all have a look for ourselves please.

Great: so CTB is color-based, what color(s) print less thick and more like the thickness you want here? That's what these objects need to be. Try it right now.

Well, if you look the picture, the continuous lines are in blue with a lineweight of 0.35mm and the hidden ones are red with a lineweight of 0.18mm. The lines are from the same layer with different color.

Pictures only show the symptoms, not the cause: share that DWG file along with your CTB file here if you need more guidance on how to self-diagnose the issue. Or ask your CAD Manager?

You could also EDIT the block to find out what those objects are actually set to as well.

Turn on LWDISPLAY and you'll see the cause, and why this checked box you left on is asking AutoCAD to do just that

The problem with this is that every line will have the same weight. I want that whatever the scale is 1:50 or 1:100, the weight will be similar to the picture in 1:50 without them merging. Just an idea also but i could make different ctb, one for 1:50 and one other for 1:100, same for imperial.

They may appear different on screen or in relation to the objects around them but the actual measured width on paper when plotted to scale will be the same according to the assigned lineweight.

Yes, but you won't be able to use both of them at the same time. It's one or the other per sheet.
