Hello there.

I am using "layout section" quite often, but it just does not work anymore! It happened while I was working on the file and I am not aware I have changed some settings...

Instead of doing a section it just produces a view and even with not the same properties as the parent view (invisible hidden lines...)

Is somebody willing to review my file tell my, what am I doing wrong?

I will be really glad to hear any suggestions, comments, ideas, how to fix it, or if it is necessary, how to produce my plans different way.

Worked for me when I copy/pasted your actual 3d geometry to another file. There's so much annotative and non-solid projections in your model space that it interferes with using the model documentation feature.

Was not thinking that could be the issue.
copy paste into a new document was working in my case too.
