Sheet Creation Error

Does anyone know if I can create just one .DWG file with a total of 5 different layouts each with their own sizes, and use that one .DWG for a sheet creation template? Essentially, what I want to do for my team is reduce the need to dig through folders to find the correct layout and size they need for their drawings or have more than just one sheet size upon creation and have the convenience of being able to choose a 30x42, 24x36, 11x17, 8.5x11P or 8.5x11L layout from a small sheet creation list. I set up the .DWG to include all layouts and it looks as it should, however, when I go and choose one of the layouts from the file, a dialogue box pops up saying there was an error creating the sheet. The newly created drawing appears in the file explorer where the rest of the .DWG's live, however do not appear in AutoCAD. How am I able to optimize this so that it works?

you were a little vague with some of the workflow so I cannot answer specifically. my favorite way of creating several layouts to choose from is I just make a .dwg with all the layouts in it and save it on the server. Then I use the From Template option in the tabs to bring in the desired layout.

if this is what you have done and it is not working, it must be a corrupt file because the process is solid.

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

If I am understanding correctly, you can create multiple layouts in a drawing with different pages sizes, orientation, title blocks (these will need to be resized appropriately), then save the file as a drawing template (DWT). See the following articles and video tutorials for more information:
