STBs require you to assign the objects to an STB 'color', as their screen color is totally ignored.

So go investigate those "random" objects, compare them to adjacent "working" objects, and see what properties differences there are and match them up.

Read all about STB usage in HELP and here, there is a bit of a learning curve involved https://www.landfx.com/docs/cad-basics/plotting/item/2096-stb.html

HTH

I have a situation working with Army Corps of Engineers drafting standards. I have had problems when plotting the true color table. I have dimension lines all on the same layer and I get them to plot black however there is a few that plot different colors. Checking the properties they are all exactly the same. What is causing the few dimensions to plot in color?

Are you able to post a dwg with the dimensions in question?

Also confirm whether you're using a .ctb or an .stb plot file?

It may help if you attach the plot file.

We are using Autocad LT 21 and this particular job is using a STB plot file. everything else is plotting black in the PDF except a few random dimensions. We do not have Revit in this office,,,

Q: do you know how STB plot style tables actually work?
They are nothing like CTB files which you might be used to I guess?

Let us know.

this is the ony project that we use STB...All the other true color layers do plot in black. just a few random elements. oane particular dimension is in a line under the other dimension string and only the one in that string printed red. the others printed black. I dont have the PDF in question at this time. it was canceled
