Couldn't open dxf file

I created a dxf file using creo parametric 6.0.4 . when trying to open it through the autocad (2014) , i asked to press enter. I received the following message ("Unknown value "AC1032" encountered in drawing version.
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.")

Sounds like the problem is with creo parametric 6.0.4

AC1032 is AutoCAD 2018 and newer format, so AutoCAD 2014 can't read it.

I should also add that you can use DWG TrueView (which is a free download) to open your dxf file and save it to an older format dwg/dxf file that your AutoCAD can read.
