Help please,

how do you draw this I have been almost completed it but the 120 at the top comes up a little short when I connect it to the rest do I need to use absolute coordinates or relative as I am struggling or could some one help thank you

Then you did some mistake because the dimensions on the figure are correct. 260-20-30-20-20-30-20 = 120

You don't. If you put the lower-left corner of the shape to the 0,0, you can use absolute coordinates. Otherwise use relative.

Which one has the X and Y coordinates? That is the absolute.

how would you draw this? I have done it but when I get to the top example 120 it comes up short and I have to increase the length to connect to 20 maybe I am doing something wrong.

How would I do it? Draw the outlines,

then offset, connect them using snap and drink my coffee.

If you are not required to use the command line then you can use the graphic input with the tracking tool to accomplish this. Take a look at this video I made for you: https://autode.sk/3bWHTYz

Yes, the other way is correct.

I would do it with relative coordinates, so I don't need to add up values for further-down-the-road vertices, and so I can start anywhere. With running object snaps off:

PLINE

{pick a start point -- I'll assume the lower left corner}

W 1.5 {and another Enter for the ending width the same}

@0,20 {the first upward segment from the lower left corner}

@Anonymous,20 {the first diagonal one}

@0,80

@Anonymous,0

@Anonymous,20

@120,0

{...etc...}
