Save in iCloud on windows fails

When I open and work a dwg saved in iCloud (downloaded on my windows iCloud folder) and try saving it is fails saving it and saves it as a .tmp format on the same folder again and again and not overwriting it.

.tmp files are created when the destination is locked from the OS's ability to erase-rename-save to that folder.
There is nothing to fix in the program, that is going to have to come from your icloud account/windows sync settings.

Seek out icloud support for help.

I did and they told me there is nothing they can do and I would have to talk to Autodesk

So it may be time to move away from iCLOUD services if they say it is a known issue? FYI, these forums are not Autodesk, we are end users just like you, if you need Autodesk Support, do this

Thanks, I do know that you are a user as well but I have a student licence and the only contact info I can contact is the forum. Thanks though I’ll look into it

Ah, good to know. You are welcome to wait for someone that also uses iCLOUD with AutoCAD to reply (if they want to do so). A quick search on the web and I only see this, you can give that a try

Are you on a MAC and running Windows AutoCAD in parallels or something similar by chance?
