Hi,

>>Having the same issue,

If you using the same or newer programm version, sure 😞

>>"hoping someone will reply with the solution"

Solution is: Save it as another file and copy&paste it yoursef

Pro tip if you need this often:

Save it as single file to your MLINE_single_file folder

and use the CMD prompt (or like that by lisp, bat cmd file - whatever) to create your one ML library file.

Copy *.mln D:\MyWholeMlineLib.mnl

>>"or Autodesk will fix if its a bug.

That whould be the best, but still not solved in current version 2023

Hello ACAD users,

Having an issue with saving MultiLine styles to the acad.mln file.

When creating a new style and saving it, the existing style already in this file is overwritten. This has the effect that only a single style can ever be saved to this file.

According to the ACAD 2021 help file this should not be the case, and multiple styles should be able to be saved to the file.

Any ideas?

In the Multiline Style dialog box, click Save to save the multiline style to a file (the default is acad. mln). You can save multiline styles to the same file. If you create more than one multiline style, save the current style before creating a new one or you lose the changes to the first style.

Multiline, multiline style and multiline edit commands of Autocad

To Create a Multiline Style

No luck I'm afraid.

To Quote the help file:

"Save

Saves or copies a multiline style to a multiline library (MLN) file. If you specify an MLN file that already exists, the new style definition is added to the file and existing definitions are not erased."

Sorry, it doesn't work that way for some reason. Existing definitions are in fact erased when saving a style.

Never had this problem before. What am I doing wrong?
