Your need is too specialized for there to be an add-on or LISP to do that (if I understood your need correctly). Sorry. It is a lovely pattern BTW.

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a patterned layout that spans around 4 km, with various curves and changing widths. Straight sections are easy to handle by creating blocks and copying them, but the curves and the varying widths make it really challenging to replicate the pattern accurately. It's becoming exhausting to do this manually. The colour should be matched too.Does anyone have any tips or automation techniques in AutoCAD (or compatible software) that could help streamline this process?

Any scripts, routines, or plugins you recommend would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.this is the blowup of the pattern. have to match the solours too

I don't think it's likely that I will have any workable suggestions, but at least I would like to have some idea of the nature of the "curves and changing widths." If the width gets wider, do all the tiles [if that's the right word] get wider accordingly, or are more rows of tiles to be added? [And the opposite for narrower.] Does it get wider or narrower in steps of tile widths, or do edges spread/shrink on diagonals? How would diagonal edges be accomplished with the tiles? On a curved path, do the tiles themselves all curve? Etc., etc.

Thanks. I know its complicated. Is there any way ? Not only have to be in AutoCAD, any software is fine. If I have to do this manually, I'd go crazy

The paver(tile) size remains constant throughout the layout(400x100, 200x200, 100x100 and cut pieces for infill). The pattern at both ends will remain unchanged. However, in the middle section (the light grey area), additional columns will be introduced as the width varies. At the end of the layout, there is a curb, so the pavers will be cut to align with the curb without introducing any curves to the paver layout.

It still doesn't seem likely that this can be automated, but at least show us an example of how the width varies in the middle section, what defines the boundaries of the varying width, what the pavers are [Blocks that include the linear edges? 2D or maybe 3D Solids? Hatch patterns in a grid of Lines?], and so on.
