      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the 3D solid is more complex than a cube you could:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Make a copy of the solid.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Draw a small circle&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Sweep the circle along the line creating a cylinder.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Subtract one of the two solids from the cylinder.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Move the end of the line to the end of the truncated end of the cylinder.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The method demonstrated in the link&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/520839"&gt;@SEANT61&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;posted used imprint.&amp;nbsp; Using that technique, start the imprint command, select the cube, then select the line.&amp;nbsp; Then use the break command, select the line, enter "F" for first point, and then use osnap to select the 1 or 2 points or the line created by the imprint command depending on how the original line and cube are related.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
