AutoCAD 2021: Missing Main Tabs "Home, Insert, Annotate..."

Hi,

The image below shows the opening screen when I open AutoCAD 2021 - English from its executable. First, I don't have a "Welcome" page or anything, but more importantly, I am missing the <Home, Insert, Annotate, Parametric,...> tabs next to Thermal like seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM2a3vsMXXk

Does anyone know why this is the case/how to fix it? I am not receiving any error messages upon opening the application either. It is making it very difficult to navigate the application and follow tutorials.

Hi,

Try to activate a different workspace (and then back to your default one) ... gear wheel like symbol in the status bar lower right.

If this fails you might have a defect cui, this can be solved starting command _CUI, then (in the upper left area) right-click the ACAD item and select first "Restore ACAD.CUIX" (then close the dialog with OK), if this did not help then try "Reset ACAD.CUIX"
