We are trying to streamline our workflow that alternates using DWG files in Microstation and AutoCAD, any tips or resources?

The office was originally set up to work with MicroStation and has recently decided to eventually migrate to AutoCAD.
I'm trying to understand the best way to incorporate the two applications into one workflow as we transition - where some open projects have been/are being created in MicroStation and some in AutoCAD and, how do we gain agility working on one project file with both applications.

Any thoughts?

I would suggest you start a small team working on small project using only AutoCAD 100% of the time.
Then add more teams and more projects using only AutoCAD.
Eventually everyone is using only AutoCAD.

Microstation slowly fades away in 2021.
