I have autosave set up on my pc to save every 5 minutes. Here lately, the only changes I have made in operations is I will leave up and running when I leave for the day . I have two different instances where I am loosing about 4 hrs worth of work on each project.

I guess I am not saving at the end of the day and cad is not auto-saving either. I guess I need to close cad daily . Any idea?

Autosave does not save to your .dwg file. It saves to a temporary file location that is deleted each time you do a manual "save" (etc). The autosave file will only be accessible in the event of an autocad crash.

You need to be saving your drawings more often, don't rely on autocad's autosave.
