Unlike my experience in AutoCAD2018, AutoCAD 2022 I've tried to explode several objects on multiple projects. When I select desired objects and the begin the Explode command, the objects become unselected. It won't allow me to reselect them while running the Explode command. Why not? If end the command, I can select them again.

This was not the case in previous versions.

I am unable to repeat that here in R2022 with my own drawings: can you post a sample DWG file with objects I can EXPLDE to repeat your issue please?

That sounds exactly like what would happen if the selected objects are not things that can be Exploded -- Lines, Arcs, Circles, Blocks defined to not allow Exploding, Text, etc. Are you sure the things you select are Explodable?
