Hey Guys,

I've been tearing my hair out on this alignment issue and I'm wondering what I am doing wrong or if there is a lisp that can fix this I don't know of? I have drawn a box that is 3" x 2", then I have drawn a theoretical 1" O.D. pipe under it.

I want to align the pipe based on the bottom right point and the top left point to be in line perfectly with the box. I align the centerline of the pipe to the diagonal line located within the box.

Then from the top right corner of the box I make a parallel line and trim the rest of the pipe. Then I rotate with a reference point (bottom right of pipe) and rotate the top left point of the pipe to the top right of the box. I have highlighted the left side of the pipe red to make the issue clear.

Here is the problem, if you zoom in far enough there is a gap. The bottom right corner of the pipe is perfectly placed but the top left is always off no matter what I do.

I have been trying to figure out and easy way to fix this for about an hour now. It doesn't matter what miniscule rotation I calculate and rotate it to (up to 30 digits specific), if you zoom in far enough there is ALWAYS a gap, hence it is not perfectly placed. How can I calculate this theoretical perfect rotation based the reference point provided? Or is there a better way to fix this? Any help at all is much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't Trim the red Line to a Line perpendicular to it from the other diagonal Line. Trim it to a Circle with its center at the lower left corner of the rectangle, going through the upper right corner [yellow below].
