Hello, I just tried to plot out my project, and persistently my white lines on the drawing change to black, i.e. the white color is black. I tried to change the background of the plot but, again the same. I would like to leave all the white lines white and put something like 250 or 251 in the background. I have a couple of traffic signs and a road line in the drawing. Can someone help?

Hi,

You have to change your current used pen assignments ( .ctb ) . assign any color to plot as white color ( 255 ) .

In AutoCAD color 7 is black-print, it only appears to be white when your background color is dark so you can read it better. Imagine if it stayed black... .

Other "white" colors to consider is RGB 255,255,255

Select Plot style >> Edit >> Form view >> select any color you need >> Color panel >> Select color and assign 255,255,255 color from True color tab .

Prove it: post your DWG file and point to the text that is not printing "white" please.

All black color in this picture must be white, and all gray color must be black, as my original project.

Follow along with the screenshot:

1) your black lines

2) Are on layer 2

3) Set to color BYLAYER

4) layer 2 is set to color 250, aka BLACK. If you don't want these to be black, change 250 to one of the other colors discussed earlier above.

Also ask your teacher for guidance and help in person.
