OLE image object not printing

I have a drawing containing an OLE image (pasted into the drawing - not an xref) and, although it shows on print preview, it will not print and I can't figure out why.
Bonus strangeness - it prints on one layout tab (at a particular scale) but not on another layout (at a larger scale)

I actually fixed this myself, but wanted to post in case other people encountered the problem.
I opened the OLE image in Paint and saved as jpeg. I then xrefed in the jpeg as a raster image. This now prints with no problems.
I don't know why this works, at a guess it's a memory error?

Hi @Anonymous

Try reducing the dpi of raster image to 720 while plotting. This will make the OLE print 🙂
