A tip when you are hunting down a Missing Plot style in a Named Plot Style Dialog

Look in blocks with attributes and verify the attributes are set a known good plot style or

set to by layer.

An attribute assigned to a previous plot style will hang onto that setting even though you may have to change the associated layer to the current plot style outside the block. A con of the universal use of attribute assignments.
