topic Changing lineweights in different sheets in AutoCAD Forum

I've got a general drawing template set up for pdf printing sheets into 1"50 scale @ A3. Inside the template I've set the lineweights to 0.18mm. I've tried using a lineweight of 0.00, but I get some clashing on either pdf prints or digital pdf viewing due to pixelation etc.

I'm printing a very large area drawing, approximately 500mX500m and wanted to print 68 sheets of 1:250 and then have a large not to scale general arrangement drawing on the back sheet. Because I've got the lineweights set-up as 0.18mm, when I look at the GA sheet the lines bleed all over each other. I've googles changing lineweights in the pagesetup, but I can't seem to get anything to change on the plotted drawings. I upped the lineweight scaling to 1:2000, but it looks about the same as if I hadn't changed the output plotting.

What I wanted to be able to do was change the lineweights to 0.00 in the GA sheet, but I'm thinking now this might not be possible.

I assume that you are managing the lineweights using either Layer properties on Object Properties.

Try doing this:

Make sure you have a plotstyle assigned in in plot window.
"Plot Object lineweights" should be marked with a tick.
Make sure that the Lineweight of all the colors inside the "plotstyle table editor" is set to "Use Object lineweight"

Also make a copy of the plot style used and change the lineweight in that and use it for the GA.

Only just plotted another GA. Thx for the tip. Once the plotstyle was set up I just changed the pagesetup for the GA sheet and changed "Use Object Lineweight" to lineweight of 0.000. Worked perfectly. TY
