At my employer, we use the Sheet Set Manager and I've noticed this issue as well. I specified the desired Page Setup for every layout in all drawings in my plan set. When I select Publish from my Sheet Set, the Page Setup column comes up as <Default: None>. However, if I type Publish on the command line, the Page Setup column is now populated with the Page Setup I specified and saved in each drawing.

I've taught my coworkers that as long as our preferred Page Setup is saved in the cover or title sheet, they can select all sheets in the Publish window and use the pop down menu from the cover or title sheet to specify the page setup for all sheets to be published.

It would be nice if the Publish dialog box displayed the specified Page Setups when publishing the Sheet Set.

Using Plant3D but this is more a base AutoCAD question so I posted here.

When using the publish command, the dialog box comes up with my selected sheets but the page setup defaults to "<Default: None> and I have to go through and change each sheet to the correct page setup. I have my dwg templates configured with a custom page setup, and that setup is set current in the page setup manager. There is only this one page setup in the templates. If you "plot" from the DWG it uses the page setup as it should.

Going through and changing the page setups manually when publishing is kinda a PITA. What am I doing wrong to not have the publish command default to my dwg template's page setup?

PUBLISH requires you to do a bit more upfront than just tap a button and hope what you want will automatically populate the dialog: if I may ask, are you new to AutoCAD's PUBLISH command/setup? I don't think P3D is different from plain AutoCAD where you are posting.

Do you use SSM at all?
