    <description>&lt;P&gt;It's difficult to see what you're trying or how you're trying to do it. Not everyone has the Quick access Toolbar set up the same way. One thing I can think of is that the layer may be off in the new drawing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you're creating a new drawing anyway. Why not try WBlocking the entities and creating a new drawing as part of the process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A good way to show what you're doing might be to create a &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/simplecontent/content/download-autodesk-screencast.html" target="_blank"&gt;Screencast&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>copy from model space to new dwg model space</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I try to copy from 1 dwg and paste into a new dwg and nothing shows up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what am i doing wrong.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the reason we do this is we nest from autocad to our burn table and we nest on a new drawing from other dwgs&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="paste.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/952087iDE8D2E5E880D525C/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="paste.png" alt="paste.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you by any chance trying to copy on &lt;EM&gt;locked Layers&lt;/EM&gt;?&amp;nbsp; It won't let you do that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I figured out solution these dwg's were created in Inventor and saved as dwg's.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;they need to be exported to dwg's.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
