Interactions when accessing the Viewport

Hello, good evening!

I am using AutoCAD 2025, and when I am drawing through the viewport, upon executing a command, for example: Line <enter>, the command interaction continues to be displayed normally (figure 1). However, if I scroll in any direction, the interaction of the line command or any other simply does not continue (figure 2).

Could you help me? I want the command interaction to continue normally while I am working within the Viewport.

Sounds like normal behavior for locked pspace vports.

The LINE command actually continues as you scroll but since your vport is locked the entire screen would change in size instead of just the view inside the vport.

Does the behavior look normal after you turn off the the vports display lock:

MVIEW

LOCK

Off

select vport

Hello,

Unlock the viewport using VPLOCK OFF or change the Display Locked setting to No in the properties panel. Make sure you're working in model space and not accidentally interacting with paper space. These steps should prevent AutoCAD from automatically switching between spaces.
