Data entry problems

I have set the AutoCAD units to architectural. When entering a data value for commands like line, polyline etc (i mean by the length of the line), i have to enter twice after entering the value. This happens only when i enter data using feet or inches. Simply i say for example I enter 10' as the length of the line, when i press the feet key, the symbol doesn't appear. With first enter click, the feet symbol appears and with the second enter click, the entry completes. Plz, get me the solution for this.

Recommend the suggestion on the Autodesk support:

After typing command, right click or enter key has to be clicked twice to enter the command in AutoCAD
