Tools/software that semi/automatically generates 3D models from 2D cad drawings

I'm looking for any tools/software that can semi/automatically generate 3D models from 2D cad drawings.
I can find some research papers about this but I can't find any software that does this. Does anyone know of such software?

I'm aware of those tools but I'm specifically looking for the semi/automatically generating part.

You're swimming upstream - it's better to create the 3D models, adjust them in context with each other, then generate the 2D drawings from the 3D content.
