Share the one problem DWG file with that block exhibiting the problem in it, plus the block working fine in another DWG file, here please. Let others compare as well.

I converted a drawing from Microstation, so that I can work on the drawing in AUTOCAD. I have done this many times before and this is the first time I have come across this issue.

I have inserted a dynamic block for a titleblock/drawing boarder into paperspace multiple times. No matter what method I use to get the block into the drawing, the attributes are not showing. the grips for them are there when the block is selected, and the attribute dialogue box confirms that the atttributes and block are there, but the visibility of the actual attributes is invisible.

I have tried closing AUTOCAD and also restarting my computer, but to no avail. I have tried the BATTMAN command to sync the attributes, and i have also tried the ATTSYNC command, and they still don't show up.

I have checked the visibility states in the Block via BEDIT, and all of the attributes are set to NO for the show invisibilty option in the properties tab.

It is not a block issue, as i have started from a blank new drawing and the block works as expected, it is only on this one converted drawing from Microstation, while all other drawings that I have converted, the block works correctly.

the block works

What layer are these attribute definitions saved under?

Do they show up when you place them in Model instead of Layout?

Can you explain what that means? Converted can mean different things when moving from one program to another.

What did you do to your dgn? Did you ‘export’ from to dgn to dwg? Or dgn to dxf? Explain.

Did you map the levels to specific layers? Are all the newly mapped layers turned on?

A problem with the size ? too smal to be be seen.

Did you manipulate ATTMODE to put it on 2, we never know... it is a drawing variable that Microstation could have turn to 0 ?
