Does AutocCad have a snap preference. Or is there any future development for it.

EG I would like intersection snap to be the highest snap priority.

Then end point, perpendicular then midpoint as per attached image

You controlling the preference by you way of cursor 😂 (and the current view / zoomlevel),

and for difficult situations you can toggle between 1. Objects and 2. snap type

by [TAB] (while Autocad detected a snap point)

Thanks I did not know that TAB worked for snaps.
Is tab used within any other commands ?

Yes, it is a question of setting and situation.

TAB is also for jumps in dynamic input fields

an windows like you can jump inside dialogs from field to field..

Did you know that, in case of an hesitation and a need for a time to figure it out 😁, you can type, for example :

ext,cen

and press ENTER

meaning that you hesitate in between two and make your choice on moving or TABuling ?

You can also set the variable APBOX to 1 and then set APERTURE to a value of your choice.

Meaning that you will understant how Osnaps work for the first time of your life 😎

But still, there is no priority. It's all in your hand.

The preference has always been the applicable location, on things passing through the aperture box, among the modes currently set, that is closest to the cursor location.
