Linked Table Column Reformatting Bug

When linking an excel spreadsheet and formatting the spreadsheet as two columns, then scaling the table to fit the viewport, autocad does not keep the formatting on the second or additional columns after saving and closing the drawing. I've had this bug multiple times in the past and have only solved it by pasting the excel sheet as OLE, is this a known issue?

Thank you for posting your question. That is unusual and not a known issue that I am aware of.

It kind of looks like it might be trying to update the font size from the spreadsheet. Maybe lock the table cells after scaling?

Hi Cheryl,

I tried locking a few cells' content and format but that had no effect. It doesn't occur without the table being scaled, but also happens whether the table is scaled up or down. I did a couple quick tests on how much the text height is changed if that assists anyone with troubleshooting;

Original text height: 0.11

Scaled Down to: 0.083

Reopened to: 0.1506

Scaled Up to: 0.1302

Reopened to: 0.2410
