Once a block is changed using Block Editor, does it change other blocks in other dwgs?

I was just wondering this because I noticed in other drawings the block hadn’t been changed in other dwgs.

A Block is defined inside your DWG/DXF where it is,

it has nothing to do with data from other drawings

(except a piece of the content is a Xref)

So the answer is NO.

Attributes updates only by using ATTYNC (or battman and sync option)

and blocks in other files are independent of your file you used bedit.

What you have to do to update a block with the same name in another file:

Use ADC Blocks-> RightClick on the block in your edited file (after saving) -> ReDefine ONLY

Or User WBLOCK, BLOCK option <select the block from list>

Inside the other files, use INSERT or CLASSICINSERT [Browse..] <select the new created dwg> -> ReDefine YES

No, you are only changing it in the file you are editing the block in, no place else.

What you want is done with XREFs, but that's not a practical option/alternative to blocks.
