Hi,

>> I'm trying to scale it too 1800( milimeters), but after I do so in model space, my layout is completely out of scale.

Units factor are used for the whole CAD dwg file .. When you scale your drawing in model space to 1800 , It's normal to have a different look in paper space layout .. So you have either to change your zoom value in your viewport OR scale your viewport as you did in model space .

Hi,

How to check units in model space and layout space. Is it the same across whole autocad file?

I am actually trying to use a template but it seems to be in Meters ( bc the people height is 1.8), I'm trying to scale it too 1800( milimeters), but after I do so in model space, my layout is completely out of scale.

Thanks,

Jin

If you scale up you need to adjust your viewport scale, your dimstyle and text as well.

Otherwise, you can just change your Measurement Scale factor to 1000 in the Dimstyle Primary Units tab. No viewport scaling will be required as you are simply adjusting the units
