Thanks. But it doesn't help me to navigate between each individual layout in the origin drawing. I tried double click it but the specific layout doesn't appear in the screen as it would if I pick it from the layout strip in the drawing

Hey everyone

Is there any way to make the layout bar behave as a floating bar. that I can move around the screen and place it whenever I want. the problem is that I have a DWG with many layout tabs (around 20) and it's really frustrating to locate the individual layout tab from the long list. as shown in the image attached

I found out that you can dock it above the status bar and it's some kind of improvement, but still those layouts that doesn't fit the strip will be located at the popup list. 2023 makes it even more tolerable but eventually it doesn't solve the problem. any ides if there's something that can make the bar float, or move it and change the size of it, in a way that all layout will be spread fully

Thanks

Hi,

Another way to have the layout visible is to open them in the Design center

see image

No. sorry. But it looks like you are ready to start using SSM for your project files for better access and organizing of your layouts if you only want a built-in solution, or buy a solution perhaps like this one https://apps.autodesk.com/ACD/en/Detail/Index?id=8780450769582245880&appLang=en&os=Win32_64

@liran652P9 Why would Autodesk out of the blue change the complete behavior of the program's 20+year actions in an update to 2023 all of a sudden? Come on, what you want is not an option unless you want to buy a 3rd party solution.

Open AutoCAD, start HELP, type SSM or SHEETSET MANAGER then explore. This online resource is helpful too https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/class/Complete-Guide-Sheet-Set-Manager-2020

HTH
