Hi maluyv,

there is a old bug (I name it bug, I don't care what others say about it)

What's going on:

1. MLstyle text-height is NOT linked to the style

2. if you select a style with height >0, Acad changes the text height to the same as the style has AND LOCK the MLstyle text height, nothing else!

Still not linked, just changed the MLstyle height to the same and locking

3. If you change the STYLE text height now, you changes nothing for MLeaders, because the MLstyle text height is still the same and locked.

4. Enter the STYLE dialog this way: In ML Style dialog, right on the STYLE name, use the [...] button

If you change the Style text height, the MLstyle text height will follow

P4 makes sense, P3 doesn't = BUG (for me)

I created a few multileader styles according to the scale of the drawing I want to use it on but after printing it I realized I wanted the text height to be bigger. I changed the text heights directly on STYLE but when I create new multileaders the text height is the same as before I fixed it and I didn't want to have to change it in Properties everytime I create it, but I can't seem to find a different way. In the images you can see that the multileader is set to follow the style but the properties show that the new multileader text height doesn't match (it should be 0.025)

oh yes, I tried to upload the screenshot of the style command but autodesk said I had already uploaded 3 files 🙄 here it goes, the style with 0.025 and the whole properties tab, showing that is not annotative

Hi there, here's the dwg file. It comes from a template that I use with a bunch of other stuff that I deleted so it wouldn't be such a heavy file but you should be able to replicate the error whenever you try to create a new multileader anyways. Thanks for trying!

Your Text Style (01-10txt) has a fixed height, so the MLeaderstyle using that Text Style is forced to use that height. That's why it's greyed out in your screenshot. If that Text Style is set to 0 then you can adjust it in the MLeaderstyle dialog.

If you need a fixed height in 01-10txt but want the option to assign a different height in your MLeaderstyle, copy the Text Style and give it a new name or append something to the end (like maybe 01-10txt-ML) and give a height of 0, then set your MLeaderstyle to the new copied Text Style.

This is insane! Makes no sense to me! But look what happened: I tried following what you say in P4 but the height is already updated because I changed it in STYLE. I pressed "Cancel" cuz I gave up. Tried making a new Mleader and the height is right. Guess I'll just do the same for all of them.
