Hi all, given a choice of the following laptops, which would be a best pick to run Autocad seamlessly? Let me know if there's any other model that are better than these.

These will all work well, but more RAM is preferred so I'd go with 2 or 3. If possible look for one with 16GB ram, there's plenty to choose from with an RTX 4060 in the same price range.

Seems both i7 in #1 & #2 out performs Ryzen 7 7435HS in #3 & #4 according to this benchmark:

But none of the laptops you spec'd have graphics cards that are certified by Autodesk for Windows 11 & AutoCAD 2025:

That does NOT mean they won't work but it also means they have not been tested and may not support DirectX12 100% with AutoCAD 2025.

Seems like there are issues running all recent versions of AutoCAD on Mac's latest OS.

ah yea i see, but if it does get fixed would macbook be worth getting because im still deciding a mac or windows laptop?

That'll depend on if you're willing to run the Mac version of AutoCAD which has a number of limited features compared to the Windows version. You can run Windows version on the Mac only if it's not on an ARMs processor and you'll have to run something like Parallels Desktop to get that to work.

I concur with this, we bought all Apple products for our office and when I went to swap to my MacBook Pro, the trial wouldn’t even work. Was back and forth with them for nearly a month trying to get a 3 day trial. Ended up with the only windows device in our office.

All four can run AutoCAD well, but if the goal is smooth, seamless performance, the HP Victus 16 (option 2) is the best pick overall. The i7-13700HX is the strongest CPU here for AutoCAD’s mostly single-threaded work, and the RTX 4060 (8GB) gives extra headroom for 3D, rendering, and large drawings. The Lenovo LOQ (option 3) is a close second and a good value choice, especially if you prefer AMD. The Acer Nitro and ASUS TUF models with RTX 4050 will still run AutoCAD fine, but they offer less long-term performance headroom compared to the RTX 4060 options.

All four of those, like others have said, will run.

I'm running a 13th gen I9-13950 w/ 64 GB and a 16 GB video card.

I tend to like Intel processors over AMD
