Attached is the DWG file I was able to work on some before the issue started. If I attempt any of the work from scratch, AutoCAD refuses to save at all, so feel free to test out the DWG file and/or attempt to start from a new file. The link below goes towards the OneDrive folder with the RCP File that I'm using that has the scan data. (The file is too large to upload directly here.)

SW Large Office Reno Export_RCP

Thank you for the interest in helping out!

I am attempting to make a 2D floorplan similar to in the linked video.

How to Create a 2D Floorplan Drawing from a Laser Scan in AutoCAD (FULL LENGTH TUTORIAL) - YouTube

My AutoCAD 2023 has all updates and has been uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem persists. I will have the file loaded properly and will be able to navigate it without issues but when I add too many lines or attempt to save my work progress (even if it's only one line) the program force shuts down and doesn't save my progress. I am uncertain how to proceed to get this to operate correctly.

My computer is up to date on all windows & hardware updates.

Computer specs: Precision 7530, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz running Windows 10 Pro.

I'll take a look. I was actually asking where you keep the file(s) but I didn't use enough words.

I keep all of the files together in a folder on my desktop. I know RCP's don't always load properly if they're not with their cache folders and etc, so I try not to separate anything into different areas when I'm working with it.
