      <title>Help creating disappearing mtext.</title>
      <link>https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/help-creating-disappearing-mtext/m-p/13630686#M529</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;So I am working on a map of my area that has a large number of significant places labeled in annotative text, idea being whenever I need a vicinity map I am able to zoom into whatever area of the map I need and the text will be automatically scaled to the size I want. That's the easy part. The hard part is that I have way too many labels to show on say a 1 mile by 1 mile map, so I would like to be able to put the texts into groups that would disappear if the map went above a certain scale e.g. if I had a scale of 1"=200' all the small road names would disappear. I could make 10 layers each with the names I want at certain scales but I feel like that is more effort than it's worth and I was hoping that someone might know of an easier way. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
