Hello, how can I import text from shape file to Autocad? I need it to to be in center of polyline as text. Any advice I turned internet upside down and I cant find.

I dont think thats it. 😕 I need to import text from shape to Autocad. I can open it for exampe in Qgis and just click show Labels and to see it clearly. How I can open it in AUtocad and get that?

Hi @Fleww,
Vanilla AutoCAD can't do anything with an ESRI Shapefile. You need either Map 3D or Civil 3D.

@Fleww Buy an add-on from a 3rd party, or install/use AutoCADMAP3D (free to subscribers of plain AutoCAD), or ditch your subscription and get Civil3D.

DotSoft's GeoLocPlus is a low-cost add-on that will let you import shapefiles directly into plain AutoCAD (2015 or higher) and also provides an easy way to label the extended data (even using centroids for polylines).

I have autodesk 3d map official version, thats not problema and I know how to import shape files, I just dont know how to import text I will show you in pictures now:

One picture is Qgis another is 3dmap, I need this text to be show like in Qgis.

So i need this text/numbers to import in autocad. I already add object data with all attributes.

Hi @Fleww,
2 ways. Use FDO Connection (MAPCONNECT) and style features with Map tools, or use a Map Annotation Template.

For some reason Autodesk doesn't put that icon in the Block Editor. You can add it with the CUI or use Command MAPANNTEXT.
