AutoCAD - Problem with the lineweight in layout

So after completing the drawing in model, I wanted to plot it using the layout.

But in the layout all the lineweights were of the same thickness. All the required options needed to show lineweights were clicked or were already in the right manner as I saw in many youtube videos.

The way I fixed them was changing the VP lineweights in layers of the layout. But for a large drawing with multiple layers, it'll be a very tiresome process. Also many lines of a single layer will be exploded and have different thickness, which need to be corrected again using the VP lineweight.

A better solution of getting the lineweight in the layout as that in the model on its own would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried using Layer colors to designate lineweights and then use CTB files to assign designated colors to weights?

Hi!

What i understand, while your drawing a line or polyline in a block or in the drawing all the lineweight to specified in the fixed weight. There is a comment called LWEIGHT by using this you can fix the lineweight for the whole drawing.

If want to see the lineweight is applied or not check the properties or you need to visible the line weight
