Find & replace not working for block attributes after re-install

My computer was wiped so I had to do a reinstall of Autocad 2021 and the Find & Replace isnt working the way it used to. I have a title block and to change the date on all the pages at once I normally just do a find/replace for the current text, but it isnt working for the title block attributes anymore. It works for normal plain text on my draw but not the attributes.

I another install on another PC and it works fine over there so i checked the 'search options' and with everything the same it still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. I did do a search int he fiorums but other with the same problem resolved the issue by changing the 'search options', but i haven't had any luck with that yet.

Not sure but it looks like there is a space after the 11 before the "."

there is not, i have even tried to copy and paste it directly in to the find box no luck

What option did you select for FIND WHERE?

Did you choose 'entire drawing?'

There is no 11.08.22 in your file, just 03.08.22 in your VPM layout's titleblock.

But I do see what you mean: do this, copy/paste that titleblock into a new blank file, and get freaked out by having none of the attributes even appear 😉

the example file I posted is the template i use for new jobs but has the same issue. I dont think my company would like it if i post the blueprints for a museum online, so I included a different file.

OK......then do this....... search for '11' without the quotes, of course.

Hi,

I guess you are wrong, also in the past FIND can not find this attribute value

BECAUSE it is set to INVISIBLE and find works vor visible attributes ONLY.

(Note, your ATTDISP is set to ON instead to normal)

Do you have more than one drawing open?

Make sure you're searching the right one. The drawing you uploaded in post #1, doesn't have 11.08.22 so you should also search for 'APR' and 'EDJ' to prove to yourself you're actually searching the correct drawing.

I edit your block and attsynced your blockreferences,

also attdisp is set to normal, test it.

Huh?

You can take your titleblock to the BLOCK EDITOR=>Select all the attributes using yellow text=>change the Property named Invisible from Yes to NO. Exit the Block Editor making sure to save your changes along the way.

Repeat the FIND command.
