AutoCAD 2022 - Unable to open .dxf file

Can't open a DXF file with AutoCAD 2022 (Education/Student Version) ("Press enter" and file freezes), but it will open with Inkscape and with a DXF viewer programme, so I know that it works. When I try to use the AutoCAD DXF viewer I get the error in the title. AutoCAD 2022 will open other DXF files. Any ideas?

Open the file in a program what works for this file and create a new file.

(copy&paste content to another file, or use an "Export" feature - whatever your program offers)

AutoCAD is very particular about the DXF structure: it must conform/adhere to the Autodesk created standard 100% perfectly. Everyone else, not so much. That's just a reality we all have to deal with these days.
